Love the way these babies are developing.  Catnip (Lisa and Corelli) and Cinnamon and Saffron (Carmen and Naturaliste).  Lovely level backs, smooth neck into shoulders, deep through the body, lovely breed type and the best temperaments anyone would wish for!!  Photos taken at about 6.5 months of age.

Our sweet little doe, Stoney Creek Acacia, presented us with triplets.  She kidded completely by herself with no help from us.  She had the most gorgeous blue eyed, polled doeling who we will be keeping and two lovely bucklings who we will have to sell. Sire is our blue eyed, polled buck First Fleet Elliot.

The Lisa and Carmen kids are all doing well except we very sadly lost one of Carmen’s girls so she only has Cinnamon and Saffron but they are thriving and are so beautiful.

Greg and I ventured to Kalbar Show today and again it was very windy.  We had a lovely day looking around the show and to top it off, Maud did us proud by being awarded Best Nigerian Dwarf exhibit and Supreme Exhibit of the Show!!  The judge was lovely and very experienced and was very complimentary about our lovely little Maud.  The sponsorship for the show was amazing and we came back with lots of trophies and products.

I took Maud, Acacia and Botanica to Boonah show and they behaved really well although it was very windy. Unfortunately they were all in the same class but Maud came 1st,  Botanica 2nd and Acacia 3rd. Maud went on to be awarded Reserve Champion Doe Kid.  They were the only Nigerian Dwarfs there and the first of the breed ever to be shown at Boonah!!  Hopefully next year there will be more.

Carmen produced three gorgeous little doelings today.  All doing well and she handled the birth so easily.  Can’t wait to see them grow. They are sired by First Fleet Naturaliste who is sired by Castle Rock Harvest Moon, a very successful producer of highly successful progeny in the US.  These babies are just beautiful and we look forward to having lots of fun with them as they grow.
