Elliot is strikingly coloured: blue eyes and tan coat from his dam and dark chocolate skin from his sire. He is a nicely put together buckling with good brisket extension, uphill stance and a clean, quite wide arch. He has very soft, thin and loose skin and the softest fur. Elliot is a treasure and we are so lucky to have been able to purchase him from FF.  His temperament is amazing – very quiet and affectionate but with an interest in everything that is happening. He has settled in very quickly and is often nose to nose with our Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs even though they are as big, or bigger, than he is.

We absolutely love him and can’t wait to see what he can produce with his super genetics as he is strongly bred to Castle Rock  bloodlines.   Castle Rock Harvest Moon in Eve and Castle Rock Mad About the Moon + Castle Rock Jamais La Contente in Hector.
At the moment, Elliot is the only 100% Nigerian Dwarf buck with blue eyes in Australia.

We have been very lucky to purchase direct from First Fleet, a gorgeous buck called First Fleet Moondance.  Moondance is sired by frozen semen imported from the wonderful buck, Castle Rock Mad About The Moon.  Mondance has a lovely nature and has been bred to our girls, FF Carmen, Ivydale Cassia and FF Beth so far. Can’t wait to see what kids due in January 2023.

The mother of Moondance, First Fleet Molly, has been successfully shown in Victoria as a youngster.  Molly has beautiful dairy structure with her wide, shallow, flat rump, uphill stance, good angulation and strong brisket. Several judges commented on her wide arch. She is small in statue but big in milk production which is so important when looking at what her son will produce.
